I am a Registered General Medical Practitioner with over 25 years of experience since graduating in 1982.

I have an interest in Rheumatology, Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support and Major Incident Medical Management and Support.

I am also approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act.

Well Person Medical Screening

We offer a comprehensive screening service for those who would like a general health check.

Following a detailed medical history check and physical examination we will carry out an electrocardiogram and take a specimen of blood which is sent away for a number of tests (including PSA test for men).

Routine urine testing is also carried out. Other investigations such as Spirometry to test lung function and Audiogram to check for hearing defects can be done here at the clinic.

If x-rays or ultrrasound scans are required they will be done at another venue where we have negotiated a very competitive rate.

Why Private General Practice?

In the last few years the NHS General Practice has become more concerned with targets and statistics as the Government has decided we should be paid by results.

I believe that this way of working is not in the best interest of the Doctor/Patient relationship.
